A Beach is a beach right? Not in Hawaii.
With 132 islands shoals and reefs in the tropical Pacific and general coastline of 750 miles the Hawaiian Archipelago has beaches of all different sizes shapes and colors. The variety on the seven inhabited islands is astonishing.
The Big Island of Hawaii alone has 266 miles of coastline the longest in the Hawaiian archipelago with sand that comes in shades of black gold red green and white. Kilauea volcano continues to pump out new black sand beaches with every red-hot eruption that reaches the sea. Most of our beaches are made of fine white coral sand. Our water temperature is near perfect 76 degrees.
